- Welcome to SWAUKS! What on earth is SWAUK's??
Well it's really a band of cycling nutters who inhabit the South West
area of England, UK, whose favourite pastime is riding a bicycle all day
long and way after bedtime. We're all in AUK (Audax United
Kingdom) and call ourselves SWAUK's for South West AUK's - that's not
an official branch of the main club or anything, - it's just something
that someone probably mentioned would be a good idea when we we're cycling
through the middle of Wales at 4 O'Clock in the morning. These pages
are just provided to give a flavour of Long Distance cycling events here
in the South West. There are picture galleries of people cycling (often
in the rain!) and lists of local events and contacts, and links to main

P-B-P is the ultimate Randonee which many AUK aspire to. It is one of the
classic long distance challenge rides
with a huge support infrastructure, and the public support has to be experienced
to be believed.
