The weather in the afternoon cleared up. Broken cloud, with some sunhine, and a following wind for some long sections
- Bliss!

At St. Mere Eglise we negotiated the typically French roadworks (i.e the entire town dug up!) and visited the church in the square where a figure of a partrooper is draped on the tower.
Much of this area has memorials and wartime tributes.

On arrival at Qhettehou it was time to relax before the last lumpy section.
Alan fixed a gear cable, as we visited the bar/tabac and got Brevet cards duly stamped.
